PulseDeals helps you review price drops, filter deal signals, save deals on your device, configure alert preferences, vote on community deal signals, and open an Amazon product or cart link. An active App Store subscription is required for the live deal feed and server-backed alert tools.
If you choose a community response on a product, PulseDeals stores that response with your PulseDeals account and the product identifier. The service uses it to enforce one current vote per account, calculate shared Good deal, Bought deal, and Bad deal totals, and show those totals to other subscribers. Changing your response replaces your previous response; deleting your account deletes the associated vote records.
If you request a new country, we store the country code and request date with your PulseDeals account to understand demand and plan availability. Requests are private, count once per country per account, and are deleted when you delete your account. Requesting a country does not subscribe you to marketing messages.
When you use Sign in with Apple, we receive Apple's app-scoped user identifier and, if Apple provides it, an email or private relay address. We create a random app-account token that links your Apple account, StoreKit purchase, and PulseDeals session. The app stores that token and short-lived session credentials in the iOS Keychain.
To verify access, the service processes App Store transaction and subscription identifiers, product ID, environment, status, expiration, revocation, and related verification data. Apple processes payment details; PulseDeals does not receive or store your full payment card or bank information.
If you choose You → PulseDeals on Discord → Link Discord, the service receives the Discord user ID, username, display name, and membership details for the configured PulseDeals server. We use them to link the same Discord account to PulseDeals, add or recognize server membership, and grant or remove the subscriber access role as your subscription changes. The Discord OAuth access token is used only during linking and is not stored afterward. Discord's privacy policy applies to Discord's processing. Disconnecting removes the stored PulseDeals association and access role; it does not delete your Discord account.
The service receives marketplace and alert rules you send to the API. The app currently keeps saved deal IDs and most presentation preferences on the device. The API uses an IP address and request timestamps for rate limiting, abuse prevention, duplicate-request controls, and security.
If you share or use a referral code, we store account associations, claim and qualification timestamps, and verified subscription transaction and reward-redemption records to award a free week and prevent duplicate or fraudulent rewards. Your inviter sees aggregate reward and pending-invite counts, not your name or email. Sharing uses the system share sheet; we do not upload contacts. An optional referral-code draft is saved on your device until added or cleared.
Account deletion removes referral account links and codes. Limited transaction identifiers, verification/revocation timestamps, and reward records may remain to prevent replay, preserve another member’s earned credit, and resolve billing disputes. Other decoded transaction details in the referral history are removed when their account link is deleted.
The server imports product and price signals from Keepa and stores normalized deal data such as ASIN, title, marketplace, price history, seller, Prime/FBA status, and heat-score inputs. Keepa credentials stay on the server and are never included in the app. When you choose Buy on Amazon, the app opens Amazon's app or website. Amazon's privacy policy applies there. PulseDeals may use an affiliate tag; your Amazon price does not change.
PulseDeals does not request camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location. We do not use an advertising identifier, sell personal information, or use behavioral analytics or cross-app tracking.
Notifications are optional. The app schedules a local trial reminder. Alert rules may be stored on the service so they can be protected by subscription and request controls. We use Apple, Discord, Supabase, Keepa, Cloudflare, and Amazon as described above. API requests are authenticated and rate limited; refresh tokens are stored as hashes on the service.
Use You → Account → Delete account to delete the PulseDeals server account and associated alert, entitlement, session, Discord-link, and operational records, as well as local account state. The service attempts to remove the PulseDeals Discord access role before deleting the account. Apple may retain Apple Account and App Store records under Apple's policies. Deleting a PulseDeals account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
PulseDeals is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We may update this page when our data practices change. Contact info@runs-it.com for privacy or deletion requests.
